ADS Toulouse has visited one of its members facilities – Gardner Aerospace Mazères.

The site has a 7,000m² plant capacity for Heat Treatment, Laser Routing, Brake Press, Rubber and Fluid Cell Press, 3/4 Short Bed Machining, Welding, Paint, Complex Assembly and employs around 149 people.
The priority for Gardner Aerospace Mazères during the COVID-19 pandemic was to maintain activity and skills, preserve jobs and create new ones. Thanks to its strategy called Ambition 2022, Gardner Aerospace Mazères was selected as part of the France Relance Plan and granted an €874,000 contribution to achieve key investments in machining, 2D laser, 3D printing / Additive Manufacturing.
The Mazères site has now acquired this new industrial equipment:
- Mazak 3-Axis Machining Centre
- Mazak 5-axis Machining centre
- Nakamura Milling Tourer
- Conventional Tour
- Conventional milling machine
This will allow the Gardner’s site in Ariège to complete its existing offer (historically articulated around expertise in sheet metal and complex assembly) to internalise the manufacture of tools but also improve its responsiveness.
With the funding, a new layout hangar specialising in machining was built together with a new machining know-how centre. As a result, Gardner Aerospace Mazères can now offer: Tooling design, Industrialisation, Productions, Short cycle – speed shop – built to print in short cycle thanks to this new strategy
Gardner Aerospace Mazères has now strengthen its position with its customers and accelerate its diversification process. A new Industry 4.0 project will come soon with support and funding from BPI France.
