We were delighted to host the first ADS Toulouse Defence Committee meeting, bringing together our members to discuss their priorities and the future of ADS Toulouse’s defence engagement across France, the UK and Europe.
🏢 The day also marked the official inauguration of our new offices designed to better welcome our members, partners and guests, while providing an even more collaborative and professional environment for our activities.
A particular thank you to Airbus for hosting two excellent sessions, providing valuable insights and stimulating discussions with our members. These exchanges perfectly reflected the purpose of the office: creating meaningful connections and sharing market intelligence.
➡️ We had the opportunity to hear from Maximilian Ruecker on Airbus Space Systems Procurement, with an overview of Airbus’ space products and constellation programmes, the challenges currently shaping the sector, and Airbus’ leading position and recognised expertise in the space industry. The session also provided useful guidance for companies looking to engage with Airbus’ space activities.
➡️ The afternoon continued with an insightful session from Airbus Programmes. Christoph Zammert, Guillaume Vuillermoz and Emmanuel Vincent provided an update on Airbus’ two major programmes – A320 Family & Widebody Programmes – their current positioning, ambitions, and roadmaps. This presentation gave our members a clear overview of Airbus’ strategic priorities and future direction, while highlighting potential opportunities for collaboration across the supply chain.
