As a trusted AIRBUS supplier, Midland Aerospace is a supplier of Detail & Elementary Parts (Build to Print) for AIRBUS and is also a key supplier to ST Engineering supporting their P2F conversion program. ** The Sutton-in-Ashfield Facility

The Sutton-in-Ashfield facility is a crucial hub for Midland Aerospace’s operations, with 41% of output directed to AIRBUS, primarily for their Hamburg site. The facility is also a significant contributor to the P2F Conversion Program for ST Engineering. Midland Aerospace plays an important role in delivering critical parts and solutions for these aerospace platforms.

  • 41% of output is supplied directly to Airbus, primarily to their Hamburg site.
  • 75% of the facility’s output supports Airbus platforms, covering a range of programs including the A320 and A350F.
  • 48% of operations focus on repairs, showcasing the facility’s expertise in maintaining and supporting operational aerospace platforms.
  • 38% of output is dedicated to producing parts for the A320, with specific part numbers tailored for this platform.
  • Development work for the A350F is currently underway, with ongoing special process audits related to this program.
  • Midland Aerospace is also heavily involved in ST Engineering’s Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) program, where the facility contributes to converting Airbus platforms to freighters.
