As a major supplier to multiple Aerospace OEM and an Airbus-approved site, Nasmyth Bulwell exemplifies engineering excellence through its expertise in producing precision Aeroengine components, airframe assemblies, and sub-assemblies. The facility plays a vital role in supporting major Aerospace programs, including A350, A320, A380 spares, and A400M as well as future programmes in development.

The Bulwell Site

The Bulwell facility is a cornerstone of Nasmyth Group’s operations, contributing to 65% of its aerospace output. It specializes in producing airframe  and engine machined details ,for the A320, A400M programmes and provides support  for the MRO aftermarket.

  • Airframe Expertise: Airframe structural details, Aeroengine control casings, fuel transfer pipes, wing ribs, and brackets in hard and soft  metals.
  • Metal Treatments: Onsite :Chromic and Tartaric Sulfuric Anodizing (TSA), conversion coatings, vacuum blasting, and specialized painting. Fully NADCAP Approved all local to the detail part manufacture.
  • Workforce: 250 employees on-site, supported by 50 engineers in Bengaluru, India, specializing in the manufacture of engine components.
