ADS Toulouse Newsletter #24 – July 2026

The first half of 2026 has passed remarkably quickly, bringing with it a series of exciting developments for ADS Toulouse. As the aerospace industry continues to face a changing global environment, the resilience and adaptability of our sector remain evident. In the UK, the Government’s commitment to supporting the aerospace supply chain through the £100m Aerospace Supply Chain Fund reflects the importance of maintaining a strong, competitive and future-focused industrial base.

Farnborough International Airshow 2026 further reinforced the resilience and ambition of the global aerospace and defence sector. With over £63 billion in aircraft orders made across the week, the show highlighted strong market demand, significant defence momentum and a renewed focus on supply chain capacity, industrial resilience and international partnerships.

Against this backdrop, we were proud to organise our first Trade Missions to Hamburg, alongside an exploratory visit to ILA Berlin, helping our members build valuable connections with key European aerospace and defence stakeholders. These initiatives represent an important milestone in our ambition to expand our activities across Europe.

This period also marked the official launch of our defence activities with the establishment of the ADS Toulouse Defence Committee. To support this strategic development, we were delighted to welcome Antoine Pollet as our new Defence Engagement Manager, reinforcing our ability to support members as they navigate and grow within this rapidly evolving sector. We are equally pleased to welcome three new companies to our community, further strengthening our network and demonstrating the continued momentum of ADS Toulouse.

Before the summer, we also had the pleasure of hosting dedicated sessions with Airbus Programmes and Airbus Defence and Space, providing valuable insights and opportunities for engagement with two key industry partners.

Our focus now turns to our Annual Event, which promises to be another excellent opportunity to bring our community together, exchange ideas and celebrate our collective achievements. We very much look forward to welcoming many of you there.
